See file scanning and threats right on the side tab
For teams using Mediabriz Guard, the side tab now shows a calm scanning animation while files are checked, and a clear red shield alert when a conversation contains a blocked file.
Mediabriz Guard screens customer files before an agent can open them. With this update, that protection becomes visible right where agents work: the side tab now reflects file-safety status even while the Mediabriz window is closed. (Available for organizations with Mediabriz Guard enabled.)
A calm cue while files are scanned
When new attachments arrive in the conversation you’re handling and Guard is checking them, the side tab shows a gentle blue scanning animation. It’s a quiet, glanceable signal that work is happening in the background, so you know a file is being reviewed without having to open the app.
A clear alert when a file is blocked
If Guard finds that a file carries a threat, the tab switches to an unmistakable red alert with a shield icon, a strong, hard-to-miss signal that the conversation contains a blocked file. That’s your cue to review it safely inside Mediabriz rather than download it from Genesys. The alert stays in place for as long as that conversation is in focus, so the warning can’t be lost in a busy moment.
Noticeable, never noisy
Like the rest of the side-tab cues, these signals are designed to get your attention without adding clutter, and they respect “reduced motion” accessibility settings.
